Due to the strong response to our Winter fly tying classes we have decided to add 2 new classes for the month of March. Starting Tuesday, March 4th we have added a second beginner class. During this 4 week class we will help you build the foundation of skills that will carry you through a lifetime of tying. We will provide you with the materials, skill set and fun, you will need a vise, bobbin / thread, scissors and an open mind. Geared toward our local Trout fishing this class will get you ready for the season.
The second class we will host is our Smallmouth class. This class was a huge hit last year and we think this year will be even better. Starting Wednesday, March 5th this 4 week class will feature flies that we fish on the Brandywine for Smallmouth. We will try to get 2 flies tied each night, one standard and one speed tie. We will work in at least one articulated pattern. There is word of a brand new fly and another round of "name that fly" with a prize awarded to the winning name of our new creation.
